Drug Defense Attorneys
Defense in etomidate vape cases, No. 4 heroin, GHB, MDMA, methamphetamine, cannabis (THC), and coffee-packet cases. Counsel attends police interviews, urine tests, and searches, and answers possession, use, transport, sale, or transfer according to the lab result, quantity, and role.
Etomidate (Zombie Vape) Defense
Etomidate and related substances, sold in vape cartridges often called zombie cartridges, have been Schedule I drugs in Taiwan since 27 June 2026. The schedule in force at the time of the conduct has to be checked, and the lab result and net weight of the cartridge or oil control the charge. Conduct before the upgrade is governed by the more favorable rule. Counsel can attend the police interview and the seizure.
No. 4 Heroin Defense
No. 4 usually means heroin, a Schedule I drug. Possession, use, sale, transport, and transfer are answered differently. Quantity, purity, and whether there was an intent to sell also affect detention. The scope of any statement should be settled with counsel before the police interview.
GHB (G Water) Defense
G water usually means GHB, a Schedule II drug, also called liquid ecstasy. A street name or the look of the liquid does not fix the charge; the lab result does. The defense turns on possession, use, or transfer, and on whether the evidence was lawfully obtained.
MDMA (Ecstasy) Defense
MDMA, sold as ecstasy, is a Schedule II drug. Purity and net weight, how the drugs were found, and intent decide whether the charge is possession, use, transfer, or possession with intent to sell. A remark at the scene is often written up later as a sale, so the statement should be discussed with counsel before the record is made.
Methamphetamine (Ice) Defense
Ice usually means crystal methamphetamine. Methamphetamine and amphetamine are both Schedule II drugs. A positive urine test shows contact with the drug. It does not by itself prove sale or transport. Quantity, money flow, and messages still have to be read to separate possession, use, transfer, and sale.
Cannabis (THC) Defense
Cannabis and its main component, THC, are Schedule II drugs. Plant material, vape oil, food, and international parcels are each assessed on the lab result and the person's role: possession, use, transport, or sale. Products made from mature stems or seeds, with THC under the statutory limit, are not treated as ordinary cannabis cases.
Coffee-Packet Defense
Coffee packet is a packaging name, not a statutory drug name. The contents often involve ketamine, a Schedule III drug, and sometimes other schedules. Grade, identity, and net weight follow the lab result. Packaging, chat logs, or transfers do not by themselves decide the charge. The firm has defended an alleged sale of Schedule III coffee packets and obtained a non-prosecution decision.
Common Drug Charges and Defense Strategy
No. 4 heroin, and etomidate as currently scheduled, are Schedule I. GHB, MDMA, methamphetamine, and cannabis (THC) are Schedule II. Ketamine, and coffee packets that still need a lab result, often fall under Schedule III. Possession, use, sale, transport, and transfer call for different answers. If a case is already under way, consult counsel before the police interview or prosecutor questioning.
Drug Defense FAQ
When should I contact a drug defense attorney?
Before police questioning, a search, a urine test, or a summons, if you can. The interview record is later used in the investigation and at trial. Counsel can attend and help keep favorable evidence.
Is an etomidate vape always charged as a Schedule I drug?
It depends on the schedule in force at the time of the conduct, and on the lab result. Etomidate and related substances have been Schedule I since 27 June 2026. Earlier conduct is governed by the more favorable rule. Calling the cartridge a zombie vape does not by itself decide the charge.
Do No. 4 heroin, GHB, MDMA, ice, cannabis (THC), and coffee packets carry the same penalties?
No. 4 heroin is Schedule I. GHB, MDMA, methamphetamine, cannabis, and THC are Schedule II. Coffee packet is not a statutory name; the contents often involve ketamine, a Schedule III drug, and the lab result controls. The same drug is also answered differently for possession, use, sale, or transport.
What procedures do cannabis (THC) cases usually involve?
Typical stages are the police investigation, prosecutor questioning, possible detention or bail, and then trial if charged. Possession, use, transport, and sale of cannabis or THC have different elements. Counsel can explain the defense focus from the lab result and attend the key hearings.
Can I consult before deciding to retain counsel?
Yes. You may book a consultation by phone, LINE, or email. Counsel will review the facts and discuss whether to take the case and the fee. For an ongoing police interview, search, or urine test, call the 24-hour line.
